
Chabbewal Constituency to Undergo Transformation with ?95 Lakh Grant; Cheques Distributed by MP Dr. Chabbewal
Hoshiarpur- "The Punjab Government is fully committed to the all-round development of villages, and keeping these objectives in mind, a grant of ?95 lakh has been released for the development of villages in the Chabbewal constituency," said MP Dr. Rajkumar Chabbewal. He made this statement while distributing cheques worth ?95 lakh for various villages in the Chabbewal Assembly constituency. He handed over cheques totaling ?95 lakh to the panchayats under Block Hoshiarpur-1.

Dr. Chabbewal stated that this amount is specifically allocated for the construction and repair of streets, drains, streetlights, water supply systems, playgrounds, and other basic infrastructure.
This will provide new momentum to the ongoing development projects in the Chabbewal constituency and directly benefit the general public. He thanked Punjab Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Mann, stating that he is providing support at every level.
He also expressed gratitude to Chabbewal MLA Dr. Ishank, who has ensured the swift implementation of development plans. Dr. Chabbewal noted that due to the active participation of Chief Minister Mann and MLA Dr. Ishank, the Chabbewal region is continuously receiving new schemes, and the pace of development is increasing every day.
The main villages and projects receiving financial assistance are as follows:
Village Bham: ?4.25 lakh in two installments for the repair of streets and drains.
Villages Bambeli, Laksihan, Bichohi, Kaindowal, Sarangwal, Mugopatti, Kalewal Fattu, Dandian: ?4 lakh to ?8 lakh for the construction and improvement of streets and drains.
Village Ghumiala: ?8 lakh for interlocking tile work in the street leading to Gurdwara Sahib.
Village Rajpur Hukumatpur: ?6 lakh for the installation of streetlights.
Villages Fatehpur and Tohlian: ?5 lakh and ?3 lakh respectively for stadium construction and playground development.
Village Bhulewal Gujjra: ?1.25 lakh for gym equipment.
Village Nurpur Brahmana: ?5 lakh for various development works.
During the distribution ceremony, representatives of the concerned village panchayats, local residents, and administrative officials were present.
