This topic shows the way to irrigate the roots of our democracy and realize the vision of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji for a developed India - 2047.
Shri Naib Singh Saini said that Urban Local Bodies are the first school and nursery of democracy. The deeper the roots of democracy are at the local level, the stronger our nation will become. Good infrastructure provides modern facilities to the citizens, so the common man feels that a developed India-developed Haryana will be created only with developed cities. Therefore, we have set a target of creating a trillion dollar economy in Haryana under Vision-2047 and creating 50 lakh new employment opportunities.
Work on the project of building 5 ultra-modern cities is underway - Chief Minister -
Shri Naib Singh Saini said that Cyber ??City Gurugram is a model of urban development. Along with it, work is being done on the project of building 5 such ultra-modern cities under the Panj Gram Yojana with the 180 km long KMP Corridor. This plan has been made for a population of 75 lakh by the year 2050.
The common man is getting the benefits of the schemes through PPP-
The Chief Minister said that under the Armut scheme, the infrastructure in the cities is being strengthened. In Haryana, an identity card has been made for all families and all government schemes have been linked with it. Now the citizens are getting the benefits of these schemes at their doorstep.
The ownership scheme that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has implemented in the entire country in the past few days has been implemented by Haryana 100 percent. Along with this, the Nagar Darshan Portal has also been launched in Haryana.
Urban local bodies made empowered-
Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini said that it is very important to make urban local bodies empowered and transparent. For this, e-governance is being adopted rapidly in Haryana. Work is being done through digital portals in every corporation of Haryana. Problems are being solved through AI.
Topics like property tax, electricity bills, solid waste management are being worked on with priority. For this, we will have to give priority to rainwater harvesting, green building, solar energy, electric vehicles. Haryana is giving impetus to campaigns like Amrit Sarovar and Jal Jeevan Mission to deal with the water crisis.
Haryana has constructed 148 dormitory units for workers in Kundli and Manesar industrial areas-
The Chief Minister said that cleanliness is not just a mission, but should be a part of our rituals. The first phase of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan was public awareness, the second phase is infrastructure, now the third phase should be rituals. To make cities garbage-free, 100 percent source segregation, bio-CNG and circular economy will have to be promoted.
He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji's dream is that the city should be slum-free. The poor should get permanent houses, clean water, good basic facilities and full respect. In this direction, more than 4 crore permanent houses have been built in the country for poor families under the PM Awas Yojana.
In Haryana, in the first phase, 148 dormitory units have been built for laborers in Kundli and Manesar industrial areas. He appealed to everyone to actively participate in fulfilling the dream of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji of a developed India.
