Hisar: – The youth state president of Jannayak Janata Party, Digvijay Singh Chautala has said that the negligence of the BJP government has spoiled the entire system of the state. He said that along with the deteriorating law and order, there are many issues like revenue deficit, increase in electricity prices, HAU student agitation, shortage of DAP, due to which the youth, poor, farmers and working class are troubled. On Monday, Digvijay Chautala was face to face with journalists in Hisar.
Digvijay Chautala said that today the courage of the miscreants has increased so much that they are openly committing big crimes without any fear, but the police and the government are sleeping. He said that the Chief Minister, who has failed to provide security to the citizens, is trying to get the liquor contracts cancelled somehow, while the liquor contractors are sitting at home due to the fear of the miscreants. Due to less sale of contracts, this time the excise revenue seems to be going into loss.
Digvijay Chautala said that the government is increasing the electricity prices to burden the public to make up for the loss of excise revenue. He also raised the issue of shortage of DAP and said that today the government is distributing DAP to the farmers by using the police and the farmers stand in long queues all day in the hope of getting DAP.
Digvijay Chautala supported the announcement of a big agitation by HAU students on July 2 and said that the government will have to remove the VC and accept the demands of the students. He said that the BJP government, which has made promises to the students and then reneged on them, should not take the test of the students' agitation because the students have the power to bring about a big revolution and history has been a witness to this.
Digvijay also said that he will seek time to meet the CM regarding this serious issue of the students and will raise the voice of the youth. Apart from this, today the government has completely failed in the application of CET. Similarly, the youth are troubled by the recruitments pending in the court and the recruitments being cancelled repeatedly.
Digvijay Chautala said that JJP had worked for the welfare of every section and every region by completing many big projects while being in the government. He said that about Rs 750 crore was sanctioned for Hisar Elevated Road by former Deputy CM Dushyant Chautala, but the current BJP government has stopped this scheme and is hindering the progress of Hisar city.
Digvijay said that today every section is unhappy with the policies of the BJP government, while on the other hand, due to the self-interest of the Congressmen, the Congress has completely disappeared from the role of opposition. Under the Yuva Jodo Abhiyan, Digvijay appealed to the youth and said that JJP is the only option for the better future of the state and all the youth associated with the party should go door-to-door and propagate the policies of JJP and unite the youth by connecting them with JJP.
He said that the role of youth in JJP is important and in the coming times, youth power will be clearly visible in the Navnirman, the youth organization of JJP. During various programmes, in the presence of Digvijay Chautala, many youths announced joining JJP and took membership of the party.
