SAS Nagar, June 23- Gurdwara Sri Fateh-e-Jung Sahib, Chapdchiri Kalan, Mohali, is organising Gurmat Samagam on June 25 to mark the martyrdom day of great warrior Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Ji. In this connection, Sri Akhand Paath Sahib was started today.
Giving details, S. Rajinder Singh Takhora, Manager, Gurdwara Sri Amb Sahib, Mohali, said that a massive Gurmat Samagam will be organised on June 25 (Wednesday) in which the renowned Ragis, Dhai, Kavi Shri Jathas, and Kathavachak of the Panth from Sri Darbar Sahib, Amritsar will inspire the Sangats with the glory of the Guru.
He said that the history of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur's Sirhind victory is unique and inspiring. He said that Sikh warrior Baba Banda Singh Bahadur, who established Khalsa Raj by destroying the tyrannical Mughal rule, raised his voice for the rights of the oppressed people and ensured justice for the working class.
SGPC members S Charanjit Singh Kalewal and Bibi Paramjit Kaur Ladran, Giani Charanjit Singh, S Jagjit Singh, S Jagdeep Singh, S Satwinder Singh, Bhai Sukhdev Singh, and others were present on the occasion.
