
Double-decker bus overturns, 2 dead, 50 injured.
Etawah (UP), June 26 - A double-decker bus going from Bihar to Delhi overturned and fell into a gorge on the Lucknow-Agra Expressway in Saifai area this morning. The accident took place near Mandi village when the speeding bus lost its balance while trying to overtake a truck.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Brijesh Kumar Srivastava said that the passengers were panicked due to the accident. Passengers in other vehicles informed the police and highway security.
The SSP said, “A joint rescue operation was launched to rescue the passengers trapped in the bus. The injured were taken to the nearby Saifai Medical College Hospital for treatment by ambulance, while the bodies of the deceased were sent to the morgue.
He said that the two deceased have been identified as Shaida (22), a resident of Bardah, Nepal, and Manoj Kumar (52), a resident of Rampur Deha, Darbhanga, Bihar. According to information, there were about 80 passengers on the bus.
