
Students who stood first in 12th and 10th studies of Kariha School were honored.
Nawanshahr- A prize distribution ceremony was organized at Government Senior Secondary Smart School Kariha under the chairmanship of Principal Amandeep Ahluwalia. In the ceremony, the students of the school who stood first in the 12th and 10th examinations of the session 2024-25 were honored. The parents of the students attended the ceremony as chief guests. Speaking at the ceremony, Lieutenant Ajmer Singh Sidhu said that Deepika, a student of this school, missed being included in the merit list of the board due to just four marks less in the 12th examination.

Principal Amandeep Ahluwalia said that the result of class 12th has been excellent. In this examination, Deepika, Simran, Charanpreet Kaur, Harsimran Kaur and Jaspreet Kaur have scored more than 90 percent and Mehar, Nisha Guru, Ramandeep Riya, Ram Prakash, Sabreen and Nitin have scored more than 80 percent marks. He said that the credit for this goes to the hardworking staff of the school.
Principal Ahluwalia said that NRI Harjeet Singh Johal gives memorial award every year in the memory of his father Mr. Pavinder Singh Johal. This year this cash award has been given to Deepika, Simran, Charanpreet Kaur, Harsimran Kaur, Jaspreet Kaur who topped the 12th examination and Nikhil, Jasdeep Bangar and Mohit Kumar of class 10th. The principal and school staff congratulated these students and their parents.
In the end, Principal Amandeep Ahluwalia thanked the Johal family, parents of the students and the villagers.
