The Chief Minister said that 19 thousand kilometers of rural roads will be connected to the cities. He said that after the construction of any new road, it will be mandatory for the concerned contractor to take NOC from the Sarpanches of the area to get the payment and in case of not doing so, the payment will not be made. He said that if the Sarpanch does not declare the constructed road as correct, then action should be taken against the contractor after investigation and if any shortcomings are found.
Along with this, the Chief Minister asked the Panchayats to keep an eye on those who indulge in corruption, while also advising them to stay away from corruption. Meanwhile, the Chief Minister, while talking about the revival of the rivers and streams that had disappeared due to illegal encroachments, said that 700 km of pipes have been laid to supply water to the fields of farmers. He also raised some other issues.
