New Delhi, May 27- The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) today said it has invited the chiefs of all three armed forces for the Indian Premier League (IPL) final to be held in Ahmedabad on June 3.
New Delhi, May 27- The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) today said it has invited the chiefs of all three armed forces for the Indian Premier League (IPL) final to be held in Ahmedabad on June 3.
They will be saluted for their bravery in Operation Sindhur during the closing ceremony of the tournament. “We have invited all the chiefs and top officers of the Indian armed forces for the IPL final in Ahmedabad to celebrate the success of Operation Sindhur,” BCCI secretary Devjit Saikia said.
Sakia said the BCCI salutes the “bravery, courage and selfless service” of the country’s armed forces.
