Hoshiarpur- Under the Shiksha Kranti Abhiyan being run by the Punjab Government, Hoshiarpur MLA Brahm Shankar Jimpa today inaugurated the newly constructed boundary wall of Government High School Dada. This boundary wall has been constructed at a cost of Rs 6 lakh.
On this occasion, MLA Jimpa said that the Punjab Government is committed to bring reforms in the education sector and the infrastructure of schools is being strengthened so that the students can get a safe and comfortable environment. He said that the absence of boundary walls in schools is a matter of serious concern, which the government is resolving on priority basis.
The MLA said that the construction of this boundary wall will not only increase the security of the school but will also instill confidence in the students. He appealed to the school staff and villagers to cooperate in making the school an ideal education center. During the program, school children presented colorful cultural programs and the parents also appreciated this initiative of the government.
On this occasion, Sarpanch Surinder Kumar, Kashmiri Lal, Roshan Lal, former Sarpanch Surjeet Ram, Avtar Singh Nambardar, Headmaster Surinder Kumar, Balbir Singh and other dignitaries were also present.
