Because there is no garbage dump near it and there is no arrangement for cleanliness at the place where the market has been built, flies and mosquitoes can be seen roaming around. Due to the summer season, the general public is facing foul smelling air.
Since Anandpur Sahib is Amritsar Sahib Highway, this road remains open all the time. Due to the bus stand from Garhshankar to Jalandhar, passengers stand there, they have to wait for hours covering their mouths due to the stench, on top of that Corona is again spreading in the country and there is a fear of spreading of terrible diseases due to this filth, but our health department and administration are sitting as mute spectators. No one has paid attention to the solution of this problem till now.
He said that keeping in view the health safety of the general public, Adarsh ??Social Welfare Society through the press demands from the Punjab Health Department and Municipal Council Administration that the filth being served to the general public by the fish vendors on Banga Road should be stopped and the dump near Jalandhar Bus Stand should be removed from here and shifted to another place.
