Garhshankar, May 28- The first Shrimad Bhagwat Katha was successfully organized by Radha Krishna Mandal and Maa Jwala Ji Jagran Committee of Pipliwal village and the congregation of the area and the devotees of Lord Shri Krishna. Katha Vyas Gaddi Vyas Acharya Jagmohan Dutt Shastri Ji gave such bliss of devotion on this occasion that the devotees were painted in the colours of Lord Shri Krishna in the entire area on all seven days of the Katha. The scene was such that the pandal fell short and the pandal was filled with Brindavan.
The devotees, immersed in the glory of Lord Shri Krishna, looked so happy that Jai Shri Krishna, Jai Shri Krishna slogans were heard everywhere. A grand procession was also organized before the Katha started.
This grand procession reached Pipliwal village again from Pipliwal village via Binewal, Binewal Adda Jhungian to Kokowal Majari. Thus, while a large number of devotees participated, special arrangements were made to welcome the devotees at various places in the area.
On the first day of the Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran Katha, Acharya Jagmohan Dutt Shastri Ji explained how much power there is in the Katha.
For example, the story was narrated that a drunkard was very drunk and he had also insulted his parents. The evils of the whole world were included in it. The Shrimad Bhagwat Katha was composed to reform people filled with such social evils. A story through which not only the people living life cross the Bhava Sagar, but the ghost soul also gets welfare.
On the second day of the Katha, it was told that to propagate the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha, Lord Shri Krishna Ji sent his most beloved Shukdev Ji to earth, who propagated the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha with his mouth. In the second context, the story of King Parikshit was narrated, in which according to the curse he got, the king was punished for insulting the saints and he was to die on the seventh day. Shastri ji told that one should never insult a saint, Brahmin, Guru or cow, otherwise no matter how powerful you are, you will be destroyed in a few days.
On the third day, the story of child Dhruva was narrated. It was told in the story that Dhruva had attained God at the age of only five and a half years. This inspires us that if we focus on devotion to God from childhood, then God can be found. It is also told in the story that some kings leave their kingdom and go to the forests and even after going there, due to not giving up their desire, when they are attracted to a deer, then their next birth is in the form of a deer.
The king born as a deer remembers his entire previous birth. Referring to this story, Shastri told that if you leave your home and go to the forest and do penance, but even after going there you are attracted to a particular thing, then your mind can get entangled in social things, so there is no need to go to the forest, it is important to remain worldly only. You should also participate in satsang and chant the name of the Lord according to Nitnem.
Along with this, another story was narrated in which naming the son Narayan leads to the attainment of Lord Narayan because the repeated calls to the son were reaching Lord Narayan and Narayan was pleased and showering his blessings on him. Along with this, the story of devotee Prahlad was also narrated. Born in a family of demons, devotee Prahlad attained God with his devotion, which proves that God does not show mercy by looking at caste and religion, he only sees devotion. Those who sing bhajans, God becomes theirs.
On the fourth day of the story, the story of King Bali was narrated. It was told that King Bali developed himself as a powerful king by serving cows and Brahmins. He had an unbreakable armor, that armor was of power and sadhana. Along with this, another episode was narrated that if you donate, do good deeds, build temples, narrate stories, do kirtan or cooperate in such works, then you will also get the unbroken kingdom. According to another episode, Lord Krishna was born in the house of mother Yashoda and Nand Baba, who arranged food and food distribution every day in Gokul. "Meri Gali Vich Aa Shama" The entire pandal was immersed in devotion on this bhajan written by Pinka Bhumbla Pipliwal.
In the fifth day's story, Shastri ji threw light on the childhood leelas of Lord Krishna in detail. This included the leela of stealing butter and lifting the Govardhan mountain.
Explaining the very beautiful episode of the sixth day of the story, Acharya Jagmohan Dutt Shastri ji said that God always makes you feel that he is with you and God being with you is the biggest blessing. On the sixth day, the devotees sang "Meri Ban Gayi Sham Majboori, Tere Karne Deedar Jaruri". During the Katha, three different types of stages were decorated, which were the center of attraction. On the seventh day of the Katha, the episode was explained in which King Prakasha understood that there is nothing here without God, God is inside and God is outside. Therefore, the bhajan of God is the best. Explaining Sudama during the Katha, Acharya ji said that the one who has good deeds in his life is Sudama.
On the seventh day, in different contexts, the youth were told very effective ways of staying away from drugs and were also inspired to meditate on God. Before the conclusion of the Katha, the devotees were made to take a pledge that they will bow their head at the feet of the lord everyday and will stay away from drugs, will plant trees and will follow their religion. Bindu Bhumbla expressed her gratitude to all the co-workers for making the Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran Katha a success.
