Hoshiarpur- Chabbewal MLA Dr. Ishank today laid the foundation stone of a new Panchayat Ghar to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 10 lakh in village Nangal Thandal. On this occasion, he said that this Panchayat Ghar will become the centre of administrative work for the villagers and this will provide many facilities to the local people under one roof.

Dr. Ishank said that the Punjab government is fully committed to the development of villages and every village is being equipped with basic amenities under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. He said that the construction work of Panchayat Ghar will be completed soon.
On this occasion, Sarpanch Hardeep Singh of village Nangal Thandal, Panch Surjit Singh, Avtar Singh, Amrik Singh, Baljit Singh, Harmesh Singh, Santosh Kumari as well as Sarpanch Meena Kumari of village Thandal, Panch Tek Singh, Harjinder Singh and Raj Kumar were also present. All the Panchayat members and villagers welcomed Dr. Ishank and appreciated his efforts.
Dr. Ishank further said that the government's schemes are not limited to paper schemes, but work is being done at the ground level. There is continuous development in the field of education, health, roads, water and sanitation. He assured the villagers that all their problems will be solved on priority basis.
The villagers expressed happiness over the approval and start of construction of the Panchayat House and said that this will enable the administrative work of the village to run smoothly. The villagers thanked MLA Dr. Ishank and the Punjab Government and wished them all the best for the future.
