Bhagwant Singh Mann has started yielding meaningful results. People from villages and cities are coming forward to contribute to make this campaign a success. These words were expressed by MLA Derabassi Kuljit Singh Randhawa while addressing the people during the drug eradication tour at villages Kurli, Jharmadi and Sangotha ??in Lalru.

Randhawa said that the aim of the drug eradication tour is to eradicate drugs with the cooperation of all sections and making every village and every street drug-free is the priority of the Punjab Government. He said that the Punjab Government is completely eradicating drugs from the state by taking strict action against drug smugglers. At the same time, it is also helping the youth who are addicted to drugs to get them off their feet again so that they can lead a better life in the society.
On this occasion, he appealed to the youth to stay away from drugs and play an active role in freeing the society from this evil. On this occasion, the entire gathering took a pledge not to do drugs, to create awareness to avoid drugs and to help drug addicts get rid of drugs.
He said that drugs had become a serious problem for the society by eating our young generation like a worm. But the Punjab government has taken exemplary action against drug traffickers to eradicate drugs and drug traffickers. So that no one does drug trafficking in future and Punjab can be made a healthy Punjab again.
While making the youth aware, he told them that drugs are a leprosy, every youth needs to be saved from it. Often due to wrong information and a few moments of luxury, the youth fall prey to this wrong line. But now the village level defense committees have also been given the responsibility to guide the youth properly and keep them away from drugs by connecting them with sports grounds. The Punjab government is working day and night to completely eradicate drugs in Punjab.
