At such a time, ‘CM’s Yoga Shala’ is making a significant contribution to making people aware of health, which is a commendable step by the Punjab Government.
Expressing this, SDM Mohali Damandeep Kaur said that with the important participation of yoga in today’s stressful life, any person can make their life happy by bringing change in their life.
SDM Mohali Damandeep Kaur said that five yoga classes are conducted daily by trainer Pulkit Taneja at different places in Mohali starting from 6.45 am to 7.35 pm. He conducts his first class at Park 1 Sector-80 Mohali from 5.30 am to 6.30 am, second class and third class at District De-Addiction and Rehabilitation Center from 7.00 am to 8.00 am and then from 4.00 pm to 5.00 pm, fourth class at Verka Park, Sector-80 from 5.30 pm to 6.30 pm and last fifth class at Golden Tone Society, Sector-80 from 6.35 pm to 7.35 pm. Where yoga training is given without charging any fee.
SDM Mohali informed that trainer Pulkit Taneja is organizing 5 yoga sessions a day as per the convenience of the people and connecting them with a healthy lifestyle. He said that it is a very good initiative of the Punjab government that yoga classes are also being organized at the District De-Addiction and Rehabilitation Center, under which trainer Pulkit Taneja is organizing two classes a day. He said that the purpose of organizing yoga classes at the District De-Addiction and Rehabilitation Center is to make a small change in the lifestyle of those people and enable them to solve their physical problems through practice and meditation. He said that while yoga solves physical problems, Sadhana (meditation) gives mental peace.
The trainer says that this is the first time that the Punjab government has done this that keeping in mind the physical and mental well-being of the common people, free yoga classes have been arranged for them. He has appealed to the people to take maximum benefit of ‘CM Yogashala’.
He said that keeping in mind the busy schedule of the common people, the timings of these sessions have been kept very flexible. He said that keeping in mind the convenience of the common people, these sessions are being organized in parks, community centers and dharamshalas located near their homes so that maximum people can get the benefit of yoga classes.
