He said that this work will be completed in a record three months. 60 mm paver blocks will be laid on these roads so that they can last for a long time.
The MLA said that earlier the road of Balongi village, which was waiting for repair for 15 years, was renovated at a cost of about Rs 45 lakh. He said that drainage pipes were also laid for water drainage during the renovation.
He said that the government led by Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann has prepared a service for the people of Punjab and under the service taken up in March 2022, special attention has been paid to the education and health of the people. So far, 881 Aam Aadmi Clinics have been opened in Punjab, one of which is also in Balongi village. These clinics provide free medicines and free lab tests. He said that the Punjab government is also starting free treatment of up to Rs 10 lakh to the people soon.
He said that under the Punjab Education Revolution, development projects worth Rs 2000 crore are being completed in 12000 schools of the state and dedicated to the students.
Referring to the campaign against drugs in Punjab, he said that the bulldozers running on the houses of drug traffickers and the smugglers being locked up behind bars are a symbol of the government's commitment to a decisive fight against drugs.
He said that the repair of rural link roads in Punjab is being started on a war footing, for which the government has made arrangements of Rs. 1800 crore.
Kuldeep Singh Samana, Avtar Singh Mauli Baidwan, Magan Lal Block President AAP, village Sarpanch Jaswinder Kaur Brar, Makhan Singh Brar, JE Jaspal Masih, Councilor Arun Goyal, village Panchayat and people were present on the occasion.
