During this, he was accompanied by Deputy Speaker of Punjab Assembly Jai Krishna Singh Raudi, Hoshiarpur MLA Brahm Shankar Jimpa, Udmur Tanda MLA Jasvir Singh Raja Gill, Dasuha MLA Karambir Singh Ghumman, Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Rural Development) Nikas Kumar and other officers. The Lok Sabha member said that various schemes of the government should be implemented smoothly so that the benefits of these schemes can be provided to the concerned beneficiaries. During this, he informed that a total grant of Rs 1.5 lakh crore was given during the financial year 24-25.
Under the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, Hoshiarpur has been given Rs 25 crore 32 lakh 77 thousand 846, which has been spent so far. While reviewing the schemes of the Health Department, he said that a total of Rs 68490945 has been spent till March 31, 2025 under Janani Suraksha Yojana, Janani Shishu Suraksha Yojana, Family Planning Reimbursement, Rogi Kalyan Samiti.
He informed that under the Pradhan Mantri National Dialysis Program, 1371 sessions have been done free of cost for 279 patients in the district during the financial year 2024-25. He said that dengue and malaria are treated free of cost in government hospitals. He said that it is the responsibility of all the department heads to ensure that dengue larvae do not flourish in their offices. The Lok Sabha member said that the plastic waste management program should be implemented effectively. During this, he also reviewed the works being done by Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi Yojana, Sansad Adarsh ??Gram Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural and Urban), Jal Jeevan Mission, Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana, Construction of Medical College, MSME Development, MSME Development, MSME Medical College, S Schemes, MNREGA, PMKVY, BSNL and National Highway Authority.
While reviewing the development works, he said that the works started should be completed soon and utilization certificates should be sent. Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain assured Lok Sabha member Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal and all the members that the development works started under other schemes besides MP Land Fund in the district will be completed soon.
He said that full seriousness is being shown for the smooth implementation of all the schemes in the district and the concerned departments are also constantly reviewing these schemes. He directed the department heads to complete the works discussed by the Lok Sabha members, Deputy Speaker and MLAs in the meeting on time. Officers of various departments were also present on this occasion.
