
MLA Randhawa dedicates infrastructure projects worth Rs. 61.15 lakh in four schools to students under Punjab Education Revolution
Derabassi (Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar), May 19: As per the commitment of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, Punjab government committed to providing quality facilities and education in schools of the state, MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa today dedicated infrastructure projects worth Rs. 61,15,500 to students in Mubarakpur, Mirpur and Pir Muchhalla.
Derabassi (Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar), May 19: As per the commitment of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, Punjab government committed to providing quality facilities and education in schools of the state, MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa today dedicated infrastructure projects worth Rs. 61,15,500 to students in Mubarakpur, Mirpur and Pir Muchhalla.
MLA Randhawa, who went on a tour of schools under the Punjab Education Revolution, also announced that the government will make the Government Primary School in Mirpur a School of Happiness at a cost of Rs. 1.20 crore.
MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa inaugurated a room built at a cost of Rs. 9.55 lakh at Government Girls Primary School Mubarakpur and dedicated it to the girl students. Modern rooms built at a cost of Rs. 15.02 lakh at Government Primary School Mirpur were dedicated to the students.
Two modern rooms built at a cost of Rs. 22.10 lakh at Government Senior Secondary Smart School Mubarakpur and other infrastructure works were dedicated to the students. Modern rooms, boundary walls and other renovation works built at a cost of Rs. 15,48,500 at Government Elementary School Peer Muchalla were inaugurated and dedicated to the students.
The MLA also interacted with the students on this occasion and asked about their future aspirations, needs in the school, etc. He said that although the students are young, it is our first duty to listen to their hearts and act on them. He said that today's students are fortunate, who are being provided with the best infrastructure and facilities in their schools.
He said that the aim of the Punjab Education Revolution is to upgrade the basic facilities in about 12000 schools of Punjab at a cost of Rs. 2000 crore, due to which the look of these schools is changing. He said that the Aam Aadmi Party government has risen above politics and come to work for the people, which is why today the look of schools across Punjab is getting a new look.
Apart from the heads and teachers of these schools, the Panch-Sarpanch of these villages, students and their parents were also present on this occasion.
