Garhshankar May 16: District Magistrate Ashika Jain, exercising the powers vested in her under Section 163 of the Indian Civil Protection Code, 2023, has imposed a complete ban on flying drones without permission in the area around Sachin Palace, Jalalpur Tehsil Tanda on May 17.
The orders issued said that the Senior Superintendent of Police Hoshiarpur has informed this office through a letter from his office that Chief Minister, Punjab Bhagwant Singh Mann and National Convener Aam Aadmi Party Arvind Kejriwal are arriving at Sachin Palace, Tehsil Tanda, Hoshiarpur tomorrow, May 17, 2025, to attend a state-level function. 
Therefore, keeping their safety in mind, a request has been made to issue an order banning the flying of drones in the area around the arrival point (Sachin Palace, Jalalpur Tehsil Tanda District Hoshiarpur).
