Punjab Sahitya Sabha Reg Nawanshahr to hold special meeting on war against drugs on 24th.

Nawanshahr- A special meeting of Punjab Sahitya Sabha Reg Nawanshahr was held at the local office under the chairmanship of the chairman of the society. During this, first of all, a two-minute silence was observed to pay tribute to the martyrs during the war-like conditions that took place in the past.

 Later, while conducting the proceedings of the meeting, General Secretary Tarsem Saki further said that as part of the efforts being made to create awareness against drugs that have spread in Punjab and to pull the young generation out of this quagmire, the meeting decided to organize a special poet's court against drugs on Saturday, May 24. 
This poet's court will begin at 2 pm at the local Bai Ji's cottage in Pandora Mohalla. In this poet's court, besides Punjab Sahitya Sabha, poets and intellectuals from the Artists Sangeet Sabha Nawanshahr, Navjot Sahitya Sanstha Aur, Doaba Sahitya Sabha Garhshankar, Darpan Sahitya Sabha Sella, and Punjabi Sahitya Sabha Banga will share awareness messages against drugs through their works. 
Tarsem Saki General Secretary, Manmohan Singh Gulati Chairman, Des Raj Bali Secretary, Dr. Malkit Kaur Jandi Vice President, Advocate Jaspreet Singh Bajwa, Vasdev Pardesi, Shamha Malhan, Veena Sharma etc. were present in the meeting.
