Mohali June 25- On the occasion of the completion of 11 years of the installation of the holy idol of Siddha Baba Balak Nath Ji in Shri Radha Krishna Temple and Dharamshala located in Phase-2 of Mohali, a grand function of Shri Maha Shiv Puran Katha is being organized in the temple premises, in which a huge crowd of devotees gathered on the second day of Katha. On the second day of Katha, devotees were generally made aware about the praise of Lord Shiva, the importance of Shiva Puran and the rules of listening to Shiva Katha.

On the second day of Katha, devotees were generally made aware about the praise of Lord Shiva, the importance of Shiva Puran and the rules of listening to Shiva Katha.
Swami Yamunapuri Ji Maharaj, who came from Haridwar, informed the devotees in detail about the difference between listening to Katha and doing penance. Addressing the devotees on this occasion, Swami Yamunapuri Ji Maharaj said that penance benefits only the person doing penance, whereas Katha benefits those people as far as the voice of Katha is heard and one listens to the Shri Mahashiv Purana Katha with attention.
During this, he described many glories of Lord Shiva, the Mahadev of Devo and also tried to connect the devotees with the feet of God through Bhajans. At the end of the Katha, Maha Aarti was organized in which all the devotees and the current President of Shri Radha Krishna Mandir and Dharamshala, Atul Sharma and his entire team, along with other devotees, participated. After this, Prasad distribution and Atut Bhandara were organized.
On this occasion, the entire women's Sankirtan team, including the current president of Shri Radha Krishna Mandir and Dharamshala, Atul Sharma, appealed to the team to enjoy the Shri Mahashiv Puran Katha organized in the temple in maximum numbers. On this occasion, the temple priests and other servants were also present who selflessly served the Bhandara and also chanted Har Har Mahadev.
