Nawanshahr- Punjab Numbardara Union Samra Group meeting was held at Sub Tehsil Mahilpur under the leadership of Mohinder Pal Khanpur, Vice President Punjab Numbardara Union. In which the difficulties faced by Numbardaras and the legitimate demands of Numbardaras were discussed.
On this occasion, a two-minute silence was observed for the spiritual peace of those killed in the attack at Pahalgam. During the meeting, Mohinder Pal, Davinder Singh Mahilpur, Sucha Singh Sherpur while addressing the meeting clarified their legitimate demands from the government and said that they condemned the government's stubborn attitude towards not accepting their legitimate demands.
Mahinder Pal said that if the government wants to end corruption in the revenue department, then they should ensure the verification of Numbardaras in the land registries of the villages. They demanded that the honorarium of Numbardaras be increased to Rs 10,000 per month.
On this occasion, Davinder Singh Mahilpur, Avtar Singh Chandeli, Ram Lubhaya, Jaswinder, Keval Candowal, Murali Manohar, Saroop Singh, Karnail Singh, Lovely Nangal Khurd, Sucha Singh Sherpur, Sahib Singh Gandhowal, Jasvir Singh, Bobby Khanpur and number dars from across the area were present.
