
MLA Randhawa inaugurated development works in 7 schools of Derabassi constituency.
Zirakpur (S.A.S. Nagar), April 30: Under the ongoing Punjab Shiksha Kranti Abhiyan in the state, MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa today inaugurated infrastructure development works worth Rs 01 crore 11 lakh 57 thousand 900 in six government schools of Derabassi constituency, which aims to raise the level of education by providing modern educational infrastructure facilities to the students in the present times.

Nagar), April 30: Under the ongoing Punjab Shiksha Kranti Abhiyan in the state, MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa today inaugurated infrastructure development works worth Rs 01 crore 11 lakh 57 thousand 900 in six government schools of Derabassi constituency, which aims to raise the level of education by providing modern educational infrastructure facilities to the students in the present times.
While interacting with the students in various schools under the Punjab Shiksha Kranti Abhiyan, MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa said that the students are getting a lot of benefit from the modern infrastructure upgraded in the schools by the Punjab Government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann. He said that the Punjab Government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has brought a huge change in the education and health sector with the aim of making Punjab colorful.
Three modern classroom upgrades and other school works were dedicated to the students at the Government Primary School of village Dhakola, Zirakpur at a cost of Rs. 12 lakh 6 thousand. Three modern classrooms were dedicated to the students at the Government Primary Smart School of village Dhakoli, Zirakpur at a cost of Rs. 15 lakh 2 thousand. Similarly, development works worth Rs. 45 lakh 92 thousand 900 were dedicated to the students at the Government Primary School and High School of village Baltana, in which five modern classrooms and boundary wall and other development works were dedicated to the students.
After this, two modern classrooms were dedicated to the students at the Government Primary School Zirakpur at a cost of Rs. 10.68 lakh, similarly two modern classrooms were dedicated to the students at the Government Primary School, village Nagla, Zirakpur at a cost of Rs. 18.34 lakh. Finally, MLA Randhawa dedicated modern classrooms to the students at the Government Elementary School, village Kishanpura at a cost of Rs. 9.55 lakh.
During the visit to these schools, Mr. Randhawa informed that 8 new teachers have been recruited in Dhakoli School and 3 teachers have been made permanent in Kishanpura School. He appealed to the villagers to make the village drug free, not to misuse water and to plant one tree for each person so that the changes taking place in the environment can be stopped.
He asked the students to stay away from new drugs and pay more attention to studies and sports. On this occasion, apart from the heads of various schools, students and their parents, the village Panch-Sarpanch, Committee President, MC, Block President of the party and the entire team were present.
