Renowned social worker and educationist demands change in school timings from district administration and government

Hoshiarpur- In view of the rising heat and ongoing heat waves (LU) in the area, renowned social worker and educationist Sanjeev Kumar has demanded change in school timings from the district administration and the state government. He said that the health and safety of children should be given priority and the government should take immediate action so that children can be saved from the heat.

Sanjeev Kumar, who is also the president of NGO A4C Dasuha, pointed out how the rising heat can prove fatal for children. He suggested that schools be run either early in the morning or in the evening, so that children can avoid the intense heat of the afternoon.
Speaking to the media, Sanjeev Kumar said, "It is necessary that the administration takes immediate steps. The heat wave situation is dangerous for the health of children. We demand that the school timings be changed so that the lives of children can be saved."
Sanjeev Kumar's demand is also echoed by many parents and educators, who have been expressing concern about the heat recently. NGO A4C Dasuha has also launched a campaign to make people aware and pressure is being put on the government.
