Kharar, April 23 - 18 councillors of Municipal Council Kharar have given a letter to the Executive Officer of Kharar Municipal Council demanding to call a meeting to bring a no-confidence motion against the Municipal Council President Jaspreet Kaur Longia.
In this regard, in the letter given to the Executive Officer on behalf of Kharar councillors Sarabjit Kaur, Gurdeep Kaur, Gobind Singh Cheema, Paramjit Kaur, Rajinder Singh Nambardar, Harinder Pal Jolly, Namita Jolly, Rajbir Raji, Jasbir Kaur, Sohan Singh, Anju Chandra, Gurjit Singh Gungi, Karamjit Kaur, Shivani Chaudhary, Vineet Jain, Ram Saroop, Jasleen Kaur, Jasbir Singh, it has been said that they trust the chairman of Municipal Council Kharar. Mrs. Jaspreet Kaur lost.
In the letter, it is said that the Chairman no longer has the majority, hence a meeting should be called under the Municipal Act as soon as possible and a no-confidence motion should be brought and the current Municipal Council Chairman Kharar should prove his majority.
