Under the leadership of District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain, the District Election Office and the sweep team are drawing programs in the month of November in collaboration with various educational institutions and social service organizations.

Under the leadership of District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain, the District Election Office and the sweep team are drawing programs in the month of November in collaboration with various educational institutions and social service organizations.
District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain said that under this campaign, voter registration camps are being organized in the district on November 9, 10 and then on November 23 and 24 at the booth level. In which the eligible voters who are attaining the age of 18 years by 01/01/2024 can register themselves as voters. If one wants to get vote shift or amendment done, they can also take advantage of these camps.
Today, under this campaign, a special camp was organized at Government Polytechnic College, Khoonimajra by District Nodal Officer Sweep Prof. Gurbakshish Singh Antal. In which the acting principal of the college Praveen Kaur distributed Form No. 6 to the students.
District Nodal Officer Sweep Prof. Gurbakhshish Singh Antal said that today 122 eligible voters were registered through the voter helpline app. On this occasion, Madam Praveen appealed to all the eligible voters of the college to vote. It may be mentioned that last year too, Government Polytechnic College Khoonimajra under the leadership of Additional Director, Technical Education-cum-Principal Rajeev Puri registered the highest number of young voters in the district. College Nodal Officer Sweep Ravinder Jaiswal and Program Officer Rashtriya Seva Yojana Birinder Pratap Singh organized today's camp and BLO Manjit Singh registered the students as voters.
