During the meeting, prominent leaders of the National Justice Front, Prof. Manjit Singh, former Jathedar Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Baba Sewa Singh Rampur Khera, Baba Gursewak Singh Ihani Sahib, Bapu Gurcharan Singh, Pal Singh France, Gurdeep Singh Bathinda, Nihang Singh Raja Raj Singh, Balwinder Singh Ferozepur, farmer leaders Dr. Darshan Pal Singh, Balvir Singh Rajewal, Surjit Singh Phool, Satnam Singh Behru, Jasbir Singh Sidhupur, Resham Singh Qadian, labor leader Tarsem Yodhaka also attended.
The meeting demanded three demands of the National Justice Front: strict punishment and making laws for the culprits of the sacrilege of Sri Guru Granth Sahib, release of the imprisoned Singhs who have completed their sentences and punishment of the culprits of the Behbal Kotkapura firing incident. The speakers said that there is no need for any dharna or demand letters regarding these demands and these are the basic duties of the government.
The speakers said that the Punjab government is telling a blatant lie that this is only a matter of the central government, while the Punjab government is sending reports to the higher courts and the central government regarding the release and parole of Jathedar Jagtar Singh Hawara, S. Balwant Singh Rajoana, Paramjit Singh Bheora and others in opposition to the release. The government is also not implementing the report of the SIT it formed in the Behbal firing incident case and is following the path of the previous governments and is protecting the culprits of the sacrilege.
The speakers said that the Punjab government can grant parole to the imprisoned Sikhs and recommend their release to the central government, but the government is not moving in this direction. The government is not even ready to listen to the National Justice Front, which has been going on for 30 months. This is a symbol of the government's tyranny and arrogance.
On this occasion, it was said that protest marches will be held in all the tehsils of Punjab on May 15 against the government's attitude and warning letters will be given to the SDM in the name of the Governor of Punjab and the President of the country. The meeting condemned the action of the Chief Minister to arrest the farmers' organizations by calling them to the meeting and said that the accusation made against the farmers of blocking the roads and paths was completely wrong, while the path was blocked by the Haryana government.
The speakers said that the police attacked the protest being held in a democratic manner like foreign invaders and stole the farmers' goods and got them stolen. The people of Punjab should strongly oppose this and the government should fully compensate the farmers for their losses. The meeting demanded that just as trade with Pakistan is going on in other states of the country, the trade routes adjacent to Punjab should be opened. On this occasion, Sukhjit Singh Khosa, Ravinder Singh Wajidpur, Balwinder Singh Kala Jhar, Buta Singh Ransingh, Advocate Harpreet Singh Sandhu, Advocate Gurcharan Singh, Iqbal Singh Delhi, Daljit Singh, Hari Singh Akal Fauj, Karamjit Singh Numberdar Cheela, Pal Singh Gharuan, Gurdeep Singh Bhatti Kisan Mazdoor Leader, Manoj Shekhawat Khap Panchayat, Sukh Gill Moga State President BKU Totewal, Balbir Singh Bairampur, Baljit Singh Bhau, Raja Singh Jat Maha Sabha and other leaders were present.
