Nawanshahr- An award ceremony was organized today at Babbar Karam Singh Memorial Public Senior Secondary School/Trust, Daulatpur by the Trust and Old is Gold Friends Group, Nawanshahr. In which Arshdeep Kaur, daughter of Raghwinderpal Singh, a student of this school who received PhD (Doctor) degree from Melbourne University, was honored and the fourteenth best ideal teacher award was given to Kirpal Singh Khabra, the intelligent director of Babbar Karam Singh School, Daulatpur.
The fifteenth best teacher award was given to Parwinder Singh Bhangal and along with this, Damanpreet Kaur, the ideal student and the student who got first position in the eighth board class, and Jasleen Kaur and Amanpreet Kaur were honored for the second and third positions.
Trust Managing Director Jaspal Singh Jadli, Vice President Taranjit Singh Thandi, Managing Director Kirpal Singh Khabra, Principal Madam Raj Rani thanked the guests. On this occasion members of Old is Gold including retired SDO Raghubinderpal Singh, Jagminder Singh AGM Hoshiarpur, Parminder Singh AGM Jalandhar, Tarsem Lal SDO, Sukhdeep Singh Canada, Sumanpreet wife of Ravi Prakash SDO Chandigarh were present.
Other guests included Parminder Singh Bakshi, Karamjit Singh Chahal Canada, Joga Singh Mohindpur, Sarpanch Harmandeep Singh and Panchayat members of village Daulatpur and the entire staff of the school. After the programme a tea party was organised.
