Aam Aadmi Party government has done a historic work by bringing reservation in the appointment of government lawyers - Brahm Shankar Jimpa.

During a press conference here today, MLA Brahm Shankar Jimpa said that the Punjab government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is fully committed to realizing the dreams of great patriots by completely eliminating corruption from the state and constructive efforts are being made in this direction.
He said that the Congress, BJP and Akali Dal have always used the Dalit community only as a vote bank and have done nothing for the welfare of the Scheduled Castes. He said that the Aam Aadmi Party government has taken a historic decision to ensure reservation in the appointment of government lawyers and has taken a big step for the Scheduled Castes, which will benefit the Scheduled Caste candidates associated with the legal profession.
Talking about putting up pictures of Baba Saheb Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar and Shaheed-e-Azam Sarkar Bhagat Singh in every office of the Punjab Government, MLA Brahm Shankar Jimpa said that in 2022, the Aam Aadmi Party government has resolved to fulfill the dreams of great patriots.
He said that due to the vision of the Chief Minister, every effort is being made for equal development of every section in Punjab. MLA Jimpa said that for the first time in the history of Punjab, the Aam Aadmi Party government has fulfilled the long-standing demand of the Scheduled Castes by giving reservation to 58 posts of Advocate General's Office.
He said that when 15 of these posts remained vacant, the Punjab Government decided to fill these posts by making necessary improvements in the income status which was hindering this work. He said that the Aam Aadmi Party is striving for the all-round development of every section of the state, under which reservation has been made for Scheduled Castes for appointments in the AG's office.
He said that the Punjab Government has not left any post vacant for the Scheduled Caste candidates in the Advocate General's office and the 15 posts which were left vacant due to some reason have also been marked for filling.
