Nawanshahr- Dr. Ambedkar Welfare Club Reg Sahlon organised a felicitation ceremony dedicated to the birthday of Bharat Ratna Baba Sahib Dr. Ambedkar Ji at Government Senior Secondary Smart School Sahlon, in which the students who came in first, second and third positions in all classes of this school and Government Primary Smart School Sahlon were honoured with certificates and mementos (Vidya Asthoghi Puraskar).
Speaking on the occasion, President Mr. Sat Pal Sahlon said that Baba Sahib has done us great favors which cannot be denied. He shed brief light on the life struggle of Baba Sahib. Master Jaswinder Singh Lecturer shed detailed light on Baba Sahib Ji's birthday and his life glimpses. Principal Madam Alka Rani praised the club for this work and said that such work further increases the interest of children in reading. Madam Amarjit Jind handled the stage of the entire program very well.
