Hoshiarpur- The "Annual Prize Distribution" ceremony was organized under the leadership of the Principal of the local Government College, Anita Sagar. In which the students who performed well in the field of NCC Education, in the field of sports, in the field of youth fairs and in the field of NSS were honored by giving prizes.
This ceremony was inaugurated with the assistance of Registrar Domestic Examinations Prof. Kashmir Singh. In which Member of Parliament Shri Raj Kumar Chabbewal Ji attended as the chief guest. First, the Principal and staff of the College Council honored him by presenting a bouquet of flowers. The ceremony began by lighting the lamp. Dr. Raj Kumar congratulated the students who received the prizes and motivated them to stay away from drugs.
In her address, Principal Anita Sagar first thanked the chief guest for coming. She congratulated the winning students and wished them a bright future. The Principal and the Chief Guest along with the members of the College Council distributed prizes to the students. Around 250 students were given prizes. On behalf of the college, Amrit Pal Singh and Akashdeep were given the Roll of Honour.
The College Colour Prizes were given to Prachi, Amrit, Taranpreet, Sahil, Manpreet, Ankita and Payal. NSS Incharge Prof. Student Khushbu, who enthusiastically participated in the programs organized under the leadership of Vijay Kumar, was specially honored. Similarly, Sahil, the student who secured the highest marks in the college in all the three semesters of MSc (Mathematics), was honored with a memento and certificate.
Prof. Navdeep Kaur played the role of stage management ably. A large number of students were present on this occasion besides the college staff.
