
Brahma Kumaris successfully organised a blood donation camp.
Chandigarh 22.08.2025 – Seva Kendra Anand Niketan, Sector 46B, Chandigarh organised a successful blood donation camp at Post Graduate Government College on the occasion of World Brotherhood Day. The camp was organised to commemorate the 18th death anniversary of Dadi Prakashmani ji.
Chandigarh 22.08.2025 – Seva Kendra Anand Niketan, Sector 46B, Chandigarh organised a successful blood donation camp at Post Graduate Government College on the occasion of World Brotherhood Day. The camp was organised to commemorate the 18th death anniversary of Dadi Prakashmani ji.
Its aim was to help the needy through blood donation and strengthen the spirit of brotherhood in the society. A large number of people voluntarily donated blood in this camp, including Divyang brothers and sisters to police officers.
The camp was inaugurated with the lighting of the lamp by Gurpreet Gabi (Area Counsellor), Beenu Dogra (Principal Ma'am of the college), Satyajit (NSS Incharge), Sanjay Mehndiratta (Charter President of Lion Supreme Club), Rajendra Jain (President of Sewa Bharati), Anoop Sareen (President of Bhartiya Sanskrit Gyan) --- (Names of Chief Guests)/ BK Poonam Didi (Center Incharge), BK Shifali Behan and BK Monika Didi (Organizer).
They highlighted the importance of blood donation and motivated people to donate blood regularly. BK Poonam Didi asked everyone to take a pledge while donating blood that we are pure and holy souls and whoever receives our blood will also become pure and holy.
A total of 10 tables were set up for the blood donors in the camp. Brahma Kumaris had made complete arrangements for snacks. At the end they were felicitated with divine gifts and certificates. All the blood donors were also given divine knowledge through Brahma Kumaris exhibition. Along with this, a science exhibition was also organized in which the level of stress and concentration was checked and the method to cure it through meditation was also told.
A total of 62 units of blood were collected in the camp. A team of doctors and paramedical staff of the Blood Bank - Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Sector 32 examined the blood donors and provided them with necessary assistance.
Explaining the importance of blood donation, Center Incharge BK Poonam Didi said that blood donation is a great donation and it cannot be made in any way in any factory or laboratory. You can save someone's life by giving this precious donation. In the end, Didi expressed her gratitude to all the blood donors and volunteers who participated in the camp.
She said that such camps help in overcoming the shortage of blood in the society. This camp organized by Brahmakumari Sanstha showed how people can unite and bring positive change in the society.
