These include boundary wall constructed at the cost of Rs 2 lakh in Government Primary School Samgouli, renovation of classrooms at the cost of Rs 2.55 lakh and two new classrooms constructed at the cost of Rs 15.02 lakh, boundary wall constructed at the cost of Rs 8 lakh and classrooms constructed at the cost of Rs 9.55 lakh in Government Senior Secondary School Samgouli, renovation of classrooms at the cost of Rs 8.69 lakh, new classrooms constructed at the cost of Rs 22.53 lakh, science laboratory constructed at the cost of Rs 11 lakh in Government Senior Secondary School Giuli, three new classrooms constructed at the cost of Rs 22.53 lakh, playground constructed at the cost of Rs 1.5 lakh and other renovation and maintenance work at the cost of Rs 5.38 lakh, and classroom constructed at the cost of Rs 7.51 lakh in Government Primary School Ambchapa were inaugurated. In his address on the occasion, he said that this 54-day Punjab Shiksha Kranti programme is also to make the opposition leaders of the state aware of the ground reality who never tire of saying in political opposition that there has been no development in Punjab.
He said that Rs 2000 crore has been spent on the development of 12000 schools of Punjab and revival of education infrastructure. He said that today when we see the students of government schools in beautiful uniforms sitting at desks in buildings more beautiful than the buildings of private schools, we feel satisfied that the hopes and expectations with which we had sought votes from the people, we have fulfilled those hopes and expectations in just three years of work.
MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa said that the idea of ??School of Eminence in Punjab was brought by the government of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and today when we see the buildings of these schools, we feel that we have succeeded in doing justice to the students of poor families according to their merit. He said that the progress of any state or society depends on the education of its children, because these children of today are the future of tomorrow. If they get good education, then in future they will bring glory to the state and the country and will remember their educational institution from where they have climbed the ladder of success.
He clarified that the government of S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, all the MLAs and the entire Aam Aadmi Party will never let the plans of those anti-Punjab forces succeed who do not want to see Punjab progress in the country. He said that everyone gets a chance but only a few people pay the price according to the opportunity and the credit for paying the price of the people clearly goes to the Bhagwant Singh Mann government of Punjab.
MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa saluted the teachers of these schools and said that today the face of these schools has changed due to their interest in improving the schools. He appreciated the role played by all these teachers in giving a unique look to their schools. On this occasion, apart from the heads of these schools, Panchs, Sarpanchs and dignitaries of the area were present.
