Garhshankar: Today on 26/11/24/, the meeting of ASHA Workers and Facilitators Union CITU was held with Deputy Commissioner Madam Komal Mittal, President Joginder Kaur, Secretary Binderpal Kaur, Vice President Balwinder Kaur, Organization Leader President Mahinder Kumar Badhoan, Monica Rani and Sister Gurbaksh Kaur Facilitator etc. were present.
The main and important demand was to reinstate the 58-year-old ASHA and Facilitator sisters who were dismissed from work, ensure 2500, double the incentive, gratuity 5 lakh on retirement, pension or insurance etc.; and to ensure the difficulties in giving incentives on time, the meeting with the Chief Minister of Punjab Bhagwant Singh Mann should be given to the ASHA workers of CITU organization and ASHA workers.
The Deputy Commissioner assured to hold a meeting with the Chief Minister of Punjab Government. On this occasion, other members presented their views and called upon them to be ready to struggle steadfastly.
