Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, April 17: The quarterly meeting of District Sainik Board, SAS Nagar was held today at the Deputy Commissioner's office under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Smt. Komal Mittal.
In this meeting, Group Captain Davinder Singh Dhillon (Retd.), District Defence Services Welfare Officer, SAS Nagar, shed light on the ongoing work of the department and presented the progress report of the office from 01 April 2024 to 31 March 2025 and apprised the House about the various schemes being implemented in the department.
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner issued instructions to the concerned departments on various issues raised by the District Defence Services Welfare Officer and ordered them to be resolved on priority basis.
During this meeting, Mr. Naveen Pal Singh, DSP, Colonel Hardev Singh, Vice President, District Sainik Board, Mrs. Indu DEO (Secondary), Mrs. Parminder Kaur, DEO (Primary), Mr. Arshjit Singh, GM Industries Department, Mr. Rakesh Kumar, Superintendent were present in the meeting.
