Deputy Commissioner inspected MNREGA works in Ghaluwal, emphasis on development of public utility and durable assets.

Una, April 10- Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal on Thursday inspected the works going on under MNREGA in Gram Panchayat Ghaluwal of Sub-Division Haroli and emphasized on the development of public utility and durable assets in rural areas. He said that the state government has a special emphasis that maximum development works should be done through MNREGA, so that the villagers not only get employment, but also permanent and useful infrastructure facilities are created in the villages.

Una, April 10- Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal on Thursday inspected the works going on under MNREGA in Gram Panchayat Ghaluwal of Sub-Division Haroli and emphasized on the development of public utility and durable assets in rural areas. He said that the state government has a special emphasis that maximum development works should be done through MNREGA, so that the villagers not only get employment, but also permanent and useful infrastructure facilities are created in the villages.
The Deputy Commissioner said that the administration is working with full seriousness and dedication to give a concrete shape to the developmental vision of Haroli area MLA and Deputy Chief Minister of the state, Mr. Mukesh Agnihotri. He directed the officials that all the works under MNREGA should be implemented in a planned manner, so that the local people can get maximum benefit from them.
During the inspection, the Deputy Commissioner visited the special school run for migrant children in Ghaluwal and observed the educational facilities available there. While interacting with the children, he made them aware of education and motivated them to move ahead in life.
Apart from this, the Deputy Commissioner also inspected the local park and open air gym constructed from Panchayat and Zila Parishad funds. He said that the administration aims to develop fitness facilities and libraries in rural areas, especially for the youth, so that the energy of the youth can be given a constructive direction and they stay away from evils like drug addiction.
On this occasion, Ghaluwal Panchayat Pradhan Sona Devi, DRDA Project Officer KL Verma, Block Development Officer Rameshwar and other officers and Panchayat representatives were also present.
