Member of Parliament Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal adopts Government Senior Secondary School, Falahi

Hoshiarpur- Today, after inaugurating the works done at the Government Senior Secondary School, Falahi at a cost of about Rs. 61 lakh under the ‘Education Revolution’ started by the government, Member of Parliament Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal took a unique initiative and announced the adoption of Government Senior Secondary School, Falahi.

Hoshiarpur- Today, after inaugurating the works done at the Government Senior Secondary School, Falahi at a cost of about Rs. 61 lakh under the ‘Education Revolution’ started by the government, Member of Parliament Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal took a unique initiative and announced the adoption of Government Senior Secondary School, Falahi.
On the occasion of the inauguration of the new classrooms, boundary walls and bathrooms built at the school along with District Education Officer Lalita Arora, School Principal Mridula Sharma, members of the School Management Committee and dignitaries of the area, Lok Sabha member Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal said that from today he has adopted this school under which he will regularly interact with the students and share the necessary information as per the target set for their future. He said that being a doctor by profession, he will guide the students to choose this profession. He said that in addition to maintaining constant contact with the students, he will also work with the principal, teachers, the school management committee and the village panchayat to make further improvements in the school and strengthen the infrastructure.
Regarding the mentorship program of the Punjab government, Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal said that apart from the senior bureaucracy, the elected representatives should also be a part of this noble cause and provide the students with the necessary information about competitive education, jobs and guidance according to the goals set for their future, besides contributing to the all-round development of the schools.
Talking about the infrastructure strengthened in the school at a cost of about Rs. 61 lakh, Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal said that he will make efforts to bring Falahi School in the forefront of model schools. He accepted the demand of some works put forward by the school principal on the spot and said that the Punjab government will also approve commerce classes in the school. 
He said that the necessary funds for further development of the school and interlocking floors will be provided soon. He said that the Punjab government has set new records in the field of education by providing training to teachers abroad, providing every modern facility to students and providing state-of-the-art infrastructure in schools.
