Nawanshahr- A meeting of the office bearers of Samyukta Kisan Morcha of District Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar was held at Baradari Bagh in Nawanshahr. Surinder Singh Bains, Tarsem Singh Bains of Kirti Kisan Union, Sukhwinder Singh, Gursev Singh, Rawal Singh of BKU (Lakhowal) and Nirmal Singh Aujla, Harvinder Singh Chahal of Rashtriya Kisan Union participated in the discussion.
On this occasion, the speakers strongly condemned Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and demanded the immediate release of the arrested farmers. He said that the loss of property of the farmers should be compensated. He said that there is no law against the government in Punjab.

The leaders appealed to all the farmer unions, farmer wives, brothers, youth and other groups across the district to reach Nawanshahr on March 28 at 11 am to respond to the excesses being committed by the government and the police.
