On the occasion of World Water Day, the Department of Life Sciences organized various competitions for students

Mahilpur, March 24- The Department of Life Sciences of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College, Mahilpur, organized various creative competitions among the students on the topic of water conservation on the occasion of World Water Day, in which the students of the Science Department participated enthusiastically.

Mahilpur, March 24- The Department of Life Sciences of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College, Mahilpur, organized various creative competitions among the students on the topic of water conservation on the occasion of World Water Day, in which the students of the Science Department participated enthusiastically.
At the beginning of the function, Professor Navdeep Kaur, Head of the Department of Life Sciences, informed the students about the importance of World Water Day and called for the conservation of various sources of water. On this occasion, the students participated in various competitions of poster making, speech and poetry recitation on the topic of efforts being made to save glaciers and water conservation.
On this occasion, Professor Babita through a PPT presentation called for saving the importance of water in human life and saving the future of humanity by saving water sources. College Principal Dr. Parvinder Singh inspired the students to always be enterprising as a conscious citizen in the society to save water, soil and air from pollution along with academic education.
On this occasion, students who participated in creative competitions were felicitated by giving them sets of books. Department Head Prof. Navdeep Kaur, Dr. Rajkumar, Prof. Apoorva, Prof. Amrita, Prof. Babita, Prof. Haripriya, Prof. Sheetal and students were present on this occasion.
