Nawanshahr- After taking one year training from Swami Satyanand Sewing Center located at local Shri Ram Sharanam Satsang Ghar Lal Chowk, 19 students gave annual examination under the supervision of examiners Sushma and Preeti. Dr. JD Verma, the main founder of the sewing center, said that about 30 girls and women are learning sewing in this center under the supervision of sewing teacher Gurvinder Kaur.
He said that for the last 28 years, Shri Ram Sharanam Seva Sansthan has been providing sewing training to girls and women in this center completely free of cost so that they can improve their financial condition and become self-reliant by doing sewing work themselves in future. Master Husan Lal, Ashok Sharma, Pradeep Joshi and Manohar Lal Ahuja etc. were also present on this occasion.
