
The 57th batch of devotees paid obeisance at Kartarpur Sahib (Pakistan).
Nawanshahr- The 57th batch of 85 members sent by Guru Nanak Mission Seva Society, led by senior member Inderjit Singh Bahra, to pay obeisance at the holy shrine of Sahib Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Gurdwara Shri Darbar Sahib Kartarpur Sahib (Pakistan), returned late night after paying obeisance.
Nawanshahr- The 57th batch of 85 members sent by Guru Nanak Mission Seva Society, led by senior member Inderjit Singh Bahra, to pay obeisance at the holy shrine of Sahib Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Gurdwara Shri Darbar Sahib Kartarpur Sahib (Pakistan), returned late night after paying obeisance.
Giving this information, the chief sevadar of the society, Surjeet Singh, said that this batch, dedicated to the holy festival of Holi Mohalla, included devotees from Nawanshahr and Gobindpur area. This batch included Jain families from Rahon, Achiwara, Usmanpur, Soita, Roorkee Khas, Thathiyala, Noorpur and especially Nawanshahr. After visiting Guru Baba Bakala Sahib, the members of this batch reached Kartarpur Sahib via Dera Baba Nanak Terminal. Hazuri Ragi Bhai Mandeep Singh welcomed them.
He appreciated and thanked the Guru Nanak Mission Seva Society for continuously sending Jathas for the pilgrimage to Kartarpur Sahib. After Ardaas, Bhai Mandeep Singh Granthi and Bhai Rakesh Singh felicitated the leaders of the Jatha as well as the head of the Jain family by giving them Siropa on behalf of Gurudwara Sahib. On this occasion, Guru Nanak Mission Seva Society also specially felicitated Bhai Mandeep Singh and Granthi Sahibans.
Jatha leader Inderjit Singh Bahara shared this information and said that this time the Jatha included one bus, two trains and some private vehicles. He said that there is a lot of enthusiasm among all the devotees about this pilgrimage and the devotees coming to this place for the first time are feeling blessed and happy by touching the dust of the holy place of Guru Nanak Sahib Ji.
He said that the service of the series of pilgrimages started by Guru Nanak Mission Seva Society will continue in future also. The next and 48th batch of pilgrims will leave for the pilgrimage on April 4, consisting of 50 members. The group included, among others, Jasvir Singh Dhillon Machhiwara, Baba Mohan Singh Machhiwara, Vinod Kumar Jangra, Rajesh Kumar Jain, Manish Jain, Naresh Jain, Nitika Jain, Vishal Chopra, Ranjot Singh Kaler, Baldev Singh Thathiala, Harjinder Singh Soita, Sukhwinder Singh Gobindpur, Avtar Singh, Balbir Singh Chak Guru, Sucha Singh, Amandeep Singh, Swarn Singh, Mankirat Singh and Nirmal Singh (all from Gobindpur village).
