In protest against this, justice loving people have organized a peaceful protest at Banga Chowk on Saturday 22 March at 9 am. All social organizations, patriotic people and politicians have been called upon to join this protest. Madam Sarita Sharma, former Director Water Supply and Sewerage Board Punjab said that the army sheds every drop of its blood to protect us, to maintain the integrity of our country and to maintain peace.
Today's inhuman treatment with a high-ranking colonel has raised questions on the Punjab Police whether such incidents are tolerable. On this occasion, while all the ex-servicemen of the army expressed their views, the farmers' organizations also appealed to protest against the atrocities being committed on the farmers. Today, the farmers and soldiers of the country will protest against the atrocities of the Punjab government. The protest will continue until the Colonel Sahib's family gets justice.
