14th Athletics Meet organised in Rayat Bahra, students performed brilliantly in sports
Hoshiarpur- The 14th Athletics Meet was organised with great enthusiasm in Rayat Bahra Education City. Students of all the colleges of the campus participated enthusiastically in this event and showed their strength in various sports competitions. On this occasion, competitions of football, cricket, volleyball, badminton, shotput, long jump, javelin throw, tug of war as well as 100, 200 and 800 meter race were organised for boys and girls.

Students of all the colleges of the campus participated enthusiastically in this event and showed their strength in various sports competitions. On this occasion, competitions of football, cricket, volleyball, badminton, shotput, long jump, javelin throw, tug of war as well as 100, 200 and 800 meter race were organised for boys and girls. The students displayed their talent and skills in sports competitions, which made the atmosphere thrilling and full of enthusiasm.
Hoshiarpur SDM Sanjeev Kumar and IPS Gazalpreet Kaur attended the programme as special guests, while senior social worker Paramjit Sachdeva was honoured as the special guest. During this, Campus Director Dr. Chandra Mohan welcomed the guests and presented them with mementos.
On this occasion, Campus Director Dr. Chandra Mohan said that this grand event has increased the interest and enthusiasm of the students towards sports and has made them aware of their physical and mental health. Addressing the players, IPS Ghazalpreet Kaur inspired the youth to stay away from drugs and adopt a healthy lifestyle. She especially inspired the girls to become self-reliant and stand on their own feet.
The most interesting moment during the competition was the tug of war between the teachers, in which the teachers participated with full enthusiasm. In the 14th Athletics Meet, Sunil Kumar among boys and Jasveer Kaur among girls were declared "Best Athlete-2025". The overall trophy was won by Engineering College, while the runner-up trophy was won by Nursing College.
This athletics meet was conducted by Dr. Meenakshi and Dr. Maninder Grover. Dr. Kuldeep Walia and Ramandeep performed the responsibility of stage management very well. On this occasion, Dr. Gurjeet Singh, Dr. RN Singh, Dr. Sukhmeet Bedi, Dr. Pallavi Pandit, Dr. Gaurav Parashar, Dr. Jyotsna, Harinder Jaswal, Gurpreet Bedi, Manmeet Bains, Gurpreet Jhim, Kuldeep Rana and the entire campus staff were present.
