Hoshiarpur- Career Guidance and Counselling Cell of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College Mahilpur organised a seminar on employment opportunities in various fields for students after their studies. Amritpal Singh Kalsi, Head and Senior Officer, Career Guidance Department, Lovely University, Jalandhar participated as a resource person on this occasion.
Career Guidance Officer Pankaj Arora of Lovely University was also present with him. College Principal Dr. Parvinder Singh shared welcome words for the guests present and motivated the students to be aware of placements in various fields after their studies.
On this occasion, Resource Person Amritpal Singh gave detailed information about employment opportunities after completing education in Arts, Science, Commerce, Computer, Agriculture and various other departments. He shared tips with the students about becoming skilled in various fields along with academic education and building a good personality. He motivated the students to appear in various competitive examinations and to connect with book culture and new means of information communication for their preparation.
Dr. Komal Badhan, in-charge of Career Guidance Cell expressed her gratitude and motivated the students to learn from such seminars. On this occasion, students from various courses of the undergraduate and postgraduate departments of the college and a large number of staff members were present.
