
Officers given training on I-RAD and e-DAR portal
Hoshiarpur- As per the directions of Additional Chief Secretary Transport Department Punjab and Deputy Commissioner, necessary training was given to the officers of Police Department, Transport Department, Traffic Police, Health Department, Public Works Department (B&R), National Highway Authority and Punjab Mandi Board on I-RAD and e-DAR portal at NIC Conference Room, District Administrative Complex Hoshiarpur today.
Hoshiarpur- As per the directions of Additional Chief Secretary Transport Department Punjab and Deputy Commissioner, necessary training was given to the officers of Police Department, Transport Department, Traffic Police, Health Department, Public Works Department (B&R), National Highway Authority and Punjab Mandi Board on I-RAD and e-DAR portal at NIC Conference Room, District Administrative Complex Hoshiarpur today.
Regional Transport Officer R.S. Gill informed that Police Department will use I-RAD App to upload details of road accidents in the district, location, number of dead/injured and status of FIRs registered. Public Works Department will inspect accident affected roads and share information about repairs and Transport Department will provide an online report about technical inspection of accident affected vehicles and driver's license.
Health Department will upload information about condition and treatment of injured and post mortem report will also be added in case of death. Once the FIR is lodged regarding the accident, all the information for compensation in MA City or hit and run cases will reach the concerned officer. Officers of the concerned departments were present on the occasion.
