As a protest, the students under the leadership of Punjab Students Union staged a dharna in front of the college. Giving information in this regard, Punjab Students Union State Finance Secretary Baljit Dharamkot, District Leader Raju Barnala, College Student Leader Hadi Hussain Sheikh and Imtiaz Khan said that the officials responsible for forcing the college student to commit suicide. In which the director of the college Davinder Kaur Roy and the vice principal Kamaldeep Kaur are included, they have not been arrested and the demands of the students have not been accepted yet. As a result, students are constantly sitting on dharna. On the contrary, the management is trying to spoil the atmosphere by sending some mischievous elements in the peaceful protest. The leaders said that the management collects illegal fees and fines by threatening the students. Instead of 9 o'clock the college timings have been kept at 8:30 o'clock and if anyone is late then he would be fined heavily. Hostel students are also given bad food. Due to which many times students have become sick. Many students were not admitted even though the admission was done through counselling, even after they were charged the fee. Post matric scholarship scheme is also violated by collecting fees from SC/ST students at the time of admission. While no non-refundable fee and funds can be charged from them at the time of admission. The student leaders said that if these demands are not seriously resolved in yesterday's meeting, then a big struggle will be waged in the near future. The district administration will be responsible for it. On this occasion, loud slogans were raised against the management of the college. Ashwani Kumar, Rafatak Hussain, Soaib, Yakub, Rohit, Lovepreet Kaur, Jaspreet Kaur, Amandeep Kaur, Priya, Amrit Kaur, Harsimranpreet Kaur, Diksha, Simran Kaur, Manpreet Kaur, Sohail and Armaan were present in the protest.
