
Meeting of Principal Harbhajan Singh Sporting Club Mahilpur was held
Mahilpur, March 10 - A meeting of the club officials was held at the club office Khalsa College Mahilpur under the leadership of Kulwant Singh Sangha, President of Principal Harbhajan Singh Sporting Club Mahilpur. On this occasion, all the associates were thanked for the efficient management of the 62nd Principal Harbhajan Singh Football Tournament organized recently by the club and future plans of the tournament were discussed.
Mahilpur, March 10 - A meeting of the club officials was held at the club office Khalsa College Mahilpur under the leadership of Kulwant Singh Sangha, President of Principal Harbhajan Singh Sporting Club Mahilpur. On this occasion, all the associates were thanked for the efficient management of the 62nd Principal Harbhajan Singh Football Tournament organized recently by the club and future plans of the tournament were discussed.
Giving information about the meeting, the President of the club Kulwant Singh Sangha said that all the officials of the club including the associates living in the country and abroad have played a major role behind the successful organization of the 62nd Principal Harbhajan Singh Football Tournament. He informed that the dates of the 63rd Principal Harbhajan Singh Football Competition have been fixed from February 13 to February 20 next year and it has been decided to increase the prize money of various categories of football competitions and the travel allowance of the players in advance.
He informed that from next year the first prize in the club category will be Rs 3 lakhs for the winning team and Rs 2 lakhs for the runner-up team. Similarly, the first prize in the college category has been announced to be Rs 1.25 lakhs for the winning team and Rs 1 lakh for the runner-up team and this award has been announced to be given every year by NRI supporter Chandrashekhar Menon. Similarly, in the increased prizes of the academy category, it has been decided to give Rs 75 thousand to the winning team and Rs 50 thousand to the runner-up team.
Similarly, the amount of TA/DA of the players has been increased by Rs 15000 per match for club level teams coming from outside the state and Rs 12000 per match for local teams. Similarly, the TA/DA of the players of the college category will be Rs 10,000 per match and Rs 8,000 per match in the academy category.
He said that the winning team of the college category will be awarded a prize of Rs 1.25 lakh by the special partner of the tournament, Sajjan Chandra Shekhar Menon (Haveli) in the year 2026. He said that for further prosperity of this tournament, Principal Harbhajan Singh Memorial Trust New Zealand has been formed, whose chairman will be partner Sajjan Tara Singh. Similarly, Principal Harbhajan Singh Sporting and Education Trust has been formed in Germany, whose chairman will be Chandra Shekhar Menon.
