Aman Arora lauds doctors for innovative efforts in healthcare sector

Chandigarh/SAS Nagar, March 8: Cabinet Minister, Punjab and State President, Aam Aadmi Party, Mr. Aman Arora today inaugurated the two-day ENT Surgical Conclave-2025, organised by the Head & Neck Surgery & ENT Department, Fortis Hospital, Mohali. The conclave highlighted the latest initiatives in robot-assisted ear, nose and throat (ENT) treatment and head and neck cancer surgery.

Chandigarh/SAS Nagar, March 8: Cabinet Minister, Punjab and State President, Aam Aadmi Party, Mr. Aman Arora today inaugurated the two-day ENT Surgical Conclave-2025, organised by the Head & Neck Surgery & ENT Department, Fortis Hospital, Mohali. The conclave highlighted the latest initiatives in robot-assisted ear, nose and throat (ENT) treatment and head and neck cancer surgery.
A chief guest at the event, Mr. Aman Arora lauded the innovative efforts being made in the healthcare sector in Punjab and the doctors, especially ENT specialists, who are providing services with a spirit of dedication. The Cabinet Minister said that this conference reflects innovation and exchange of knowledge, which are essential to make our healthcare system more robust.
He said that doctors are the backbone of healthcare services and the Punjab Government led by Chief Minister Mr. Bhagwant Singh Mann is committed to support initiatives that benefit the citizens of the state by enhancing medical skills. He further said that the discussion on robotic surgery will help in bringing about significant improvement in the quality of healthcare.
This surgical conference was organized by Dr. Ashok Gupta, Director, ENT Department, Fortis Hospital, Mohali in collaboration with All India Rhinology Society and Punjab Medical Council. More than 200 delegates including ENT specialist doctors as well as junior and senior residents from various medical colleges across the country participated in this conclave.
Giving information about this conference, Dr. Ashok Gupta said that in this program special attention was given to the latest techniques in ENT and use of robotic surgery in the treatment of head and neck cancer. It is worth mentioning that activities like live surgery sessions, interaction with operating faculty, panel discussions, poster presentations and quizzes were also organized in this conference.
ENT Expert Dr. Anuragini Gupta said that the main objective of this conference was to promote the latest techniques related to ENT and to train ENT specialist doctors about it. On this occasion, Padma Shri awardee Prof. (Dr.) J.M. Hans, Dr. Neha Sharma, Dr. Rishav Kumar, Dr. K.R. Meghnath, Dr. Rajnigandha M.G., Dr. Mohanish Grover and Dr. Gaurav Gupta were also present.
