Faridkot- Deputy Commissioner Poonamdeep Kaur, known for her excellent administration and visionary leadership, shared her plan for the all-round development of Faridkot in an exclusive conversation with senior journalist Sanjeev Kumar. She said that additional development of infrastructure, administrative reforms and public welfare in the district are her priorities, which will make Faridkot a model district of Punjab.
DC Poonamdeep Kaur, said that her top priority is to take citizen services, education, healthcare, and rural development to a higher level. She said that transparent administration, digitalization of government services and strong management at the grassroots level are her main objectives.
“Faridkot has a lot of potential for development, our focus is on modern infrastructure, improvement of health and education, and further improvement of law and order, so that the quality of life of the people can be taken to a higher level,” said Deputy Commissioner Poonamdeep Kaur while sharing her views.
DC Poonamdeep Kaur stressed that public participation is the mainstay of progress. She would encourage the residents of Faridkot to participate in government schemes, social welfare programmes, and civic campaigns.
She said that “We want to run an administration that is people-centric, where the voice of every citizen is heard and their needs are met on priority.” DC Poonamdeep Kaur hoped that the people would trust the administration and cooperate for a better future.
