Chandigarh, March 8, 2025- Panjab University Incubation Center, in collaboration with the Center of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship and PI-RAHI (Panjab University - IIT Ropar Regional Accelerator for Holistic Innovations), hosted the Business Launchpad 2025. The event, designed to nurture and support aspiring entrepreneurs, provided a platform for young innovators to showcase their ideas and gain valuable insights from industry experts.
Business Launchpad 2025 featured a distinguished panel of experts, including Dr. Narinder Singh Jassal, Senior Scientist CSIR-CSIO, Mr. Manish Verma, Co-founder & CEO of AngelBlue, and CA Raakesh Kumar, along with other industry professionals from diverse sectors. The experts shared their knowledge and experience, guiding students through the intricacies of entrepreneurship and offering crucial mentorship.
Six promising startup ventures pitched their innovative ideas before the expert panel, competing for recognition and funding. Following a rigorous evaluation process, “UrCompanion,” presented by JatinPasricha, emerged as the winner, securing a prize of Rs 5,000/- sponsored by IDFC First Bank. The second prize was awarded to “Farmer’s Market,” presented by Sehajpreet Singh Boparai and his team.
The event provided a valuable opportunity for young innovators to network with like-minded individuals and receive expert validation for their ideas. By fostering an entrepreneurial spirit, Business Launchpad 2025 aimed to equip students with the necessary tools and guidance to launch their own successful ventures.
