Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, March 6: The Punjab government led by S. Bhagwant Singh Mann is making every possible effort to provide all kinds of basic facilities to the residents of Punjab.
This was stated by SAS Nagar constituency MLA Sardar Kulwant Singh while laying the foundation stone of Anganwadi Centre to be constructed at a cost of about Rs 10 lakh and Solid Waste Management to be constructed at a cost of about Rs 20 lakh in village Jagatpura and dedicating a new tubewell installed at a cost of about Rs 22 lakh for the supply of drinking water to the villagers.
Speaking at village Jagatpura, the constituency MLA announced that a new tubewell would be installed soon to improve the supply of drinking water for the villagers and said that other works that are going to be done for the betterment of the village would also be done soon.
Speaking at village Dharamgarh, he said that the Punjab government is making every effort to provide clean drinking water in every village of Punjab because if the people of Punjab get clean drinking water, they will remain healthy because most of the diseases arise due to the lack of clean drinking water.
On this occasion, Mr. Jaspal Masinh AE, Dheeraj Kumar Gauri, Ranjit Rana, Karamjit Singh Kala, Satwinder Singh Lala, Davinder Singh Sarpanch at village Jagatpura and Ramanpreet Singh Executive Engineer, Rajinder Sachdeva SDO, RP Sharma, Harvinder Singh Ladi, Surinder Singh, Jagga Dharamgarh and a large number of villagers were present.
